Executive Director

Genocide Intervention Network and Save Darfur Coalition (GI-Net/SDC), both created in response to atrocities in the Darfur region of Sudan, have merged to create the world’s largest anti-genocide organization. GI-Net/SDC is seeking a proven Executive Director with a track record of setting and reaching ambitious goals and a commitment to ending genocide.  Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director will oversee and manage the GI-Net/SDC staff, programs and the execution of its mission.

GI-NET/SDC mobilizes thousands of committed activists globally, has an unparalleled nationwide student association and coordinates a network of institutional investors with over $700 billion in assets under management.  GI-NET/SDC is working to stop and prevent genocide while helping to build peace in Sudan.

GI-Net/SDC seeks an Executive Director who has knowledge and experience with issue advocacy, organizational leadership, management, finance, human resources, and communications.  S/he should be strategic, resourceful and an outstanding relationship builder who inspires collaboration and commitment.  S/he should have proven leadership and coaching skills, as well as personnel and program management experience.

Responsibilities include:

Leadership & Management:
